Former Tottenham goalkeeper Pau Lopez has faced an unexpected setback after his transfer to RC Lens collapsed, just a day after it was officially announced. Lopez, 30, spent the 2016-17 season at Tottenham as a third-choice goalkeeper behind Hugo Lloris and Michel Vorm.
Following stints at Real Betis, Roma, and Marseille, he joined Girona on loan last summer but made only one appearance this season.
