Manchester United midfielder Casemiro has reportedly been offered a lucrative £650,000-a-week deal by Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr. Signed from Real Madrid for £70 million in 2022, the 32-year-old Brazilian has experienced mixed fortunes at Old Trafford.
Al-Nassr, led by sporting director Michael Emenalo, is keen to reunite Casemiro with Cristiano Ronaldo, with the Saudi club ready to expedite the deal in the January transfer window. Although no direct contact has been made between Al-Nassr and United, reports indicate Casemiro is open to leaving. With a contract running until 2026, United is said to value him at £25 million, significantly lower than his initial transfer fee.
Amid United’s struggles this season, languishing in 13th place in the Premier League, Casemiro has appeared in 22 matches across competitions but failed to regain his best form. Al-Nassr’s offer could make Casemiro one of the highest-paid players in Saudi Arabia, with a potential move expected either in January or at the end of the season.
