Casadei, who joined Chelsea from Inter Milan in 2022 and spent two seasons on loan, is not in Enzo Maresca's plans for the future.

Casadei joined Chelsea from Inter Milan in the summer of 2022, but spent his first two seasons out on loan with Reading and Leicester City. Despite his time away, Enzo Maresca does not see the 21-year-old in Chelsea’s long-term plans. As a result, reports suggest that Casadei is set to leave Stamford Bridge, with a return to Italy being the most probable option.

Serie A club Torino has expressed interest in signing Casadei for a move to Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino this January. According to journalist Gianluca di Marzio, the 21-year-old has already agreed to join Il Toro. However, Chelsea is reportedly holding out for a transfer fee of €20 million.

Di Marzio further reveals that Torino has submitted an initial bid of €12 million (£9.9m/$12.3m) for Casadei, which was rejected by Chelsea. Several other clubs are also reportedly keen on securing the services of the young Italian.

Casadei will be hoping to finalize his move to Torino swiftly, aiming to integrate into their squad ahead of their Serie A fixture against Juventus on January 11 or their match against Fiorentina on January 19.
