Arsenal have established themselves as one of the Premier League’s most formidable teams from set-pieces over the past two seasons. Now, Mikel Arteta has confirmed that discussions are underway to extend the contract of their set-piece expert, Nicolas Jover, at the club.

Jover is also said to be in line for a potential salary increase, with the Gunners greatly benefiting from his tactical expertise. Arteta revealed that several members of his coaching team are currently in contract talks, explaining to reporters, “It’s challenging because getting four or five people to commit at the same time isn’t easy. I’m really happy with them and hold them in the highest regard. I want us to continue working together, so I hope it gets resolved soon.”
