The England international was substituted at half-time during the match after a collision with Getafe goalkeeper David Soria in the first half of the derby at Santiago Bernabeu. Despite the clash, Bellingham managed to convert a penalty and assist Kylian Mbappe’s goal shortly after. However, at the break, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti opted to take no chances with the 21-year-old midfielder, who reported feeling dizzy. He did not return for the second half as Real secured a 2-0 victory.

Fans expressed concern over Bellingham’s condition, but the midfielder addressed the speculation with a reassuring message on social media. He confirmed, “Checks all good, ready for Wednesday. Thanks for the messages.”

Looking ahead to Real Madrid’s upcoming La Liga match against Athletic Club, Bellingham will be eager to feature prominently. After a slow start to the 2024-25 season, which saw him go 12 games without a goal, he has since found the net three times in his last four appearances.
