The Canadian left-back’s current contract is set to expire at the end of the season, with Real Madrid having long been linked to him. However, Barcelona has also expressed interest, while Manchester United has reportedly made Davies a top target for next summer.

Bayern Munich, according to Florian Plettenberg, have prioritized convincing Davies to extend his stay in Munich and are currently in discussions with the 24-year-old about a new contract. The player’s agent recently suggested that staying at Bayern is a viable option, dismissing rumors of an imminent agreement with Madrid.

In case they fail to secure a new deal with Davies, Bayern has reportedly identified potential replacements, with AC Milan’s Theo Hernandez being one possibility, and United is also said to be interested.

Davies found himself in the spotlight this week after reports revealed that he had been banned from driving for a month, just ahead of Bayern’s match with Borussia Dortmund on Saturday.
