Former Wales manager Chris Coleman has left AEL Limassol by mutual consent after just 11 matches in charge. The 54-year-old joined the Cypriot club in May, but his tenure ends with the team in eighth place in the Cypriot First Division, having earned 13 points from four wins this season.

AEL Limassol released a statement thanking Coleman for his contributions, and praising his character and professionalism. The club wished him success in future endeavors, emphasizing the respect he garnered during his tenure. Coleman has managed clubs internationally, including stints in Spain, Greece, and China. Best remembered for leading Wales to the Euro 2016 semi-finals, Coleman remains an admired figure in Welsh football.

Speaking earlier this year, he highlighted Gareth Bale’s exceptional career, calling him the greatest player he ever coached and Britain’s most successful export, with four Champions League titles. Coleman reportedly has interest from clubs both in the UK and abroad for his next managerial role.
