Tuttosport reports that Everton have offered Portuguese striker Beto to struggling Serie A side Torino.
According to the Wednesday edition of Tuttosport, Everton have made their centre forward Beto available to Torino, who are coping with the absence of star striker Duvan Zapata for the rest of the season due to a knee injury. Since Zapata’s injury at the beginning of October, Torino has suffered four defeats in five matches, scoring only three goals in Serie A.
Beto has faced limited playing time at Everton, prompting the Premier League club to seek a move that would offer the striker more consistent involvement. Torino is seen as an ideal destination, as Beto has previous Serie A experience, having played for two seasons at Udinese before joining Everton in a €30m transfer in 2023.
The 26-year-old netted 22 goals in 65 appearances for Udinese, but has only scored seven times in 46 matches for Everton. However, Beto is not Torino’s only target, as the club is also considering Napoli’s Giovanni Simeone and Milan’s Luka Jovic.
