Manchester United striker Joshua Zirkzee has emerged as a potential loan target for Juventus in the upcoming January transfer window. The 23-year-old Dutch forward joined United this summer for £36.5 million from Bologna, where he enjoyed a successful season, scoring 12 goals and providing seven assists in 37 appearances.
However, Zirkzee’s impact at Old Trafford has been limited, as he has only made seven Premier League appearances this term, with his sole goal coming in the season opener against Fulham. West Ham legend Paolo Di Canio suggested a loan move to Juventus could benefit Zirkzee, noting that he may be “a bit too slow” for the Premier League but could thrive in Serie A.
Di Canio emphasized Zirkzee’s prior success in Italy, stating that his style could complement Juventus’ needs, particularly as he differs from their star striker, Dusan Vlahovic. With other attacking options like Rasmus Hojlund and Marcus Rashford, a loan may help Zirkzee find form and experience.
