The French midfielder’s doping suspension was reduced from four years to 18 months following a successful appeal at the Court of Arbitration for Sport. Pogba is now set to return to action in March 2025 and is eager to relaunch his career at Juventus, even offering to take a pay cut to reintegrate into the squad.

Despite Pogba’s contract with Juventus running until June 2026, club director Giuntoli made it clear that the team is preparing for life without him.

“Our stance is clear. Pogba has been a fantastic player, but after a long absence and with the need to invest in other players last year, we believe the squad is now complete,” Giuntoli stated in an interview with DAZN ahead of Juventus’ home match against Lazio. “We’re content with the current team.”

Reports had suggested that Juventus might explore an amicable exit for Pogba, and Giuntoli’s comments have effectively confirmed this outcome. However, with his talent, Pogba is likely to find a new club without difficulty.

Juventus remains unbeaten in Serie A and secured a 1-0 victory over Lazio on Saturday evening, propelling them to second in the standings. They will return to Champions League action on Tuesday, facing VFB Stuttgart at home.
