If he could manage to do the same in England, Spain or anywhere else, you will never know until you get there, but I’m sure their qualities are there for everyone to see.”
Fernandes will be representing Portugal in their upcoming Nations League matches before returning to United’s lineup next Saturday, where they face Brentford. Like Ten Hag, Fernandes is also under pressure, having failed to score this season and acknowledging the need for improvement.
