Graham Potter is set to return to football after a 17-month break following his sacking by Chelsea in April 2022. Despite spending over £300 million on new players, Potter struggled during his seven-month tenure, managing just 12 wins in 31 matches.

Since then, he turned down managerial roles at Ajax and Leicester City and has been linked with positions at Manchester United and England. Potter will make his first public appearance as a pundit for Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football, analyzing Chelsea’s upcoming match against Brighton, one of his former clubs.

Reflecting on his time at Chelsea in an interview, Potter described it as a “grieving process” but emphasized that he takes full responsibility for the results. While he acknowledged the disappointment of leaving Brighton, he does not regret the opportunity at Chelsea. Potter has been in talks with Man Utd but remains out of full-time management for now.
