Aleksandar Stanojevic, manager of Partizan Belgrade, attended his latest press conference with visible cuts on his face after angry fans reportedly smashed a window following their 4-0 defeat to rivals Red Star. The incident occurred after the “Eternal Derby,” one of Europe’s fiercest football rivalries, where Red Star dominated with a hat-trick from Cherif Ndiaye.

Furious Partizan supporters allegedly shattered a window near the dressing room, causing flying glass to hit Stanojevic. Despite the injuries, Stanojevic, who returned to manage Partizan for a third stint in July, downplayed the incident, stating, “The fans broke the window, it hit me, and that’s it.”

The Serbian manager appeared at the press conference with multiple cuts on his forehead and nose, covered with tape. He now faces mounting pressure to turn Partizan’s fortunes around, having won just three of 13 matches this season. Stanojevic hopes to restore some faith with a victory against Mladost Lucani this weekend.
