Former Arsenal star Wojciech Szczesny could be tempted out of retirement just four weeks after announcing his decision to hang up his boots. The 34-year-old goalkeeper, who played for Juventus last season, retired to focus on his family, stating he had lost the hunger for football despite still being physically fit.

However, Barcelona is reportedly eyeing Szczesny as a potential replacement for injured goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen, who will be out for seven months following knee surgery. Barca is exploring their options, with Szczesny emerging as a prime candidate due to his experience.

The possibility of reuniting with fellow Polish international Robert Lewandowski may further tempt Szczesny to consider a return. If negotiations fail, Barcelona is also considering Keylor Navas, a former Real Madrid goalkeeper who is currently a free agent.
