Reports from Italy indicate that Juventus have reached an agreement with Porto for the loan transfer of Portuguese international Francisco Conceicao.
This deal marks Juventus’ second transfer of the day, following their agreement with Fiorentina for Argentine winger Nico Gonzalez.
Calciomercato.com and Ilbianconero report that the Conceicao transfer will be a direct loan costing Juventus €7 million for the season, with potential additional bonuses of up to €2 million.
The 21-year-old was omitted from Vitor Bruno’s squad for the Liga Portugal match against Santa Clara on Friday, although Porto secured a 2-0 away win without him.
Last season, Conceicao scored five league goals in 27 appearances for Porto and was part of Roberto Martinez’s Portugal squad that reached the quarter-finals of EURO 2024. He also scored a dramatic 91st-minute winner in Portugal’s opening match against Czechia.
Thiago Motta, who has expressed a need for two new wingers this summer, will likely welcome this addition. As a result, Juventus may no longer pursue Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho, who was also on their radar this summer.
