Frank Lampard, the Chelsea and England legend, has taken on a new role as a pundit for Amazon Prime’s Champions League coverage. The 46-year-old will join a star-studded panel that includes Clarence Seedorf, Daniel Sturridge, and Gael Clichy. Gabby Logan will head the coverage with Premier League legend Alan Shearer as a commentator.

Lampard, who also worked as a pundit during Euro 2024, remains without a managerial position since leaving Chelsea in June last year after a brief caretaker stint. However, Lampard has expressed his desire to return to management in the future, stating that he is keen on the right opportunity while enjoying family time. Gary Lineker has even speculated that Lampard could be a strong candidate for the England managerial role following Gareth Southgate’s departure after Euro 2024.

For now, former U21 boss Lee Carsley will manage the team on an interim basis. Lampard acknowledged his passion for the managerial role, expressing optimism about finding the right opportunity to return to the dugout soon.
