Eddie Nketiah has reportedly agreed personal terms with Nottingham Forest as he prepares to depart Arsenal after nine years at the club. Forest, in search of a striker to strengthen their attack under manager Nuno Espirito Santo, targeted Nketiah after their £22 million bid for Santiago Gimenez was rejected by Feyenoord.

Fabrizio Romano reports that the deal is nearing completion, with Forest confident of finalizing it soon.Nketiah, 25, has struggled for consistent game time at Arsenal, where Mikel Arteta favored Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz as strikers. Last season, he made 27 Premier League appearances, starting only ten matches but still scoring five goals and providing two assists.

Despite interest from Crystal Palace and Marseille, Nketiah appears to be set on joining Forest. The transfer is expected to be completed before the window closes. Meanwhile, Arteta is set to sign a new long-term contract with Arsenal, while Forest has secured Alex Moreno on a season-long loan from Aston Villa.
