With Paulo Dybala reportedly set to join Al-Qadsiah for €3-4 million, Roma are in urgent need of a replacement. The club is considering Matias Fernandez-Pardo from KAA Gent, Nice’s Jeremie Boga, and Cyril Ngonge from Napoli as potential candidates.
Sky Sport Italia reports that a meeting between Roma and Al-Qadsiah is scheduled for tonight, following Dybala’s acceptance of a personal terms offer worth €75 million over three years, including bonuses.
Roma are ready to accept a transfer fee of only €3-4 million for Dybala, significantly less than his €12 million release clause which expired on July 31, plus an additional €2-3 million in bonuses.
To fit Daniele De Rossi’s preferred 4-3-3 formation, Roma are now looking for a suitable replacement.
One option is Fernandez-Pardo, a 19-year-old Belgian from KAA Gent, who has already scored twice in six appearances this season and was previously linked with Lazio and Milan.
Jeremie Boga, who has experience in Serie A from his time with Atalanta and Sassuolo before moving to Nice for €17 million in 2023, is another candidate.
A more budget-friendly alternative is Cyril Ngonge, who has struggled to make an impact at Napoli since his €18 million move from Hellas Verona in January.
