Sportitalia reports that Atalanta has turned down Manchester United’s €50m bid for Ederson, stating firmly that the midfielder is not available for transfer.
Following their Europa League victory, Champions League qualification as Serie A’s fourth-place team, and their competitive showing against Real Madrid in the UEFA Super Cup, Atalanta has been flooded with significant offers for their key players.
Teun Koopmeiners is keen to move to Juventus, while Ademola Lookman has attracted interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal.
According to transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà of Sportitalia, Manchester United’s €50m offer for the Brazilian midfielder Ederson was unequivocally rejected. Atalanta emphasized that he is not for sale this summer, noting that with the season underway, finding a suitable replacement would be exceedingly challenging.
Despite being a provincial club from Bergamo, Atalanta is one of the few in Italy operating profitably, further supported by American investors in partnership with the Percassi family.
