Chelsea are reportedly preparing to make a sensational offer to sign Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho. According to German publication Fussball News, the Blues are willing to offer a fee, along with two academy players, for the 24-year-old.
They are also open to a loan deal with an obligation to buy, covering Sancho’s salary during the loan period. The English forward spent the latter half of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund following a fallout with United boss Erik ten Hag. Although he returned to Old Trafford, Sancho is now linked with a surprise move to Stamford Bridge, which would make him Chelsea’s 10th signing of the summer.
Sancho has 12 goals and six assists in 83 appearances for United since joining from Dortmund for £73m in 2021. He has a reported price tag of £35m. Chelsea’s interest comes amid Sancho’s revelation that he grew up as a Blues fan, with Frank Lampard being his favorite player.
