Multiple Italian sources are now reporting that Juventus and Milan have formally agreed on the transfer of centre-back Pierre Kalulu, following Juventus’ initial bid submitted earlier on Monday.

The deal involves a season-long loan with an option to buy later in the year. Juventus will pay Milan €3.5 million for the loan, with an additional €14 million plus €3 million in bonuses if the transfer becomes permanent. Should the deal become permanent, Milan will also retain a 10% sell-on clause, as reported by Sky Sport Italia.

While the clubs have reached an agreement, Juventus still need to finalize personal terms with Kalulu. Bianconeri officials have already spoken to the French defender via video call to discuss the transfer.

Sky also indicates that Kalulu had expressed his desire to leave Milan before Juventus’ offer was made. The 2021-22 Scudetto winner has made 84 Serie A appearances for Milan over the past four years.
