The Gunners are seeking an obligatory purchase fee of around £25 million, though Marseille initially offered £17 million last month. Nketiah, 25, who emerged from Arsenal’s Hale End academy, is keen on more playing time after making just 10 Premier League starts last season. Although Mikel Arteta still values Nketiah, the forward’s future at Arsenal remains uncertain. Arteta recently praised Nketiah following a 4-1 friendly win against Bayer Leverkusen but declined to comment on the transfer rumors.

Nketiah scored six goals in 37 appearances last season but did not start any matches in 2024. If Nketiah departs, Arsenal could find themselves short in central attacking options, relying on Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz to stay fit.
