Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement to sign Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke for a club-record fee of £65 million. The 26-year-old English forward is scheduled to undergo a medical with Spurs on Friday night and Saturday, with a six-year contract expected to keep him at the North London club until 2030.

Solanke’s current contract at Bournemouth was set to expire in June 2029, but the £65 million release clause will now be triggered, marking the Cherries’ biggest-ever sale. Ange Postecoglou, Tottenham’s manager, identified Solanke as a “top target,” particularly after the departure of Harry Kane to Bayern Munich.

Solanke scored 19 goals and provided three assists for Bournemouth last season, and his move to Spurs will bolster their attacking options. The deal also ends speculation about Richarlison’s potential move to Saudi Arabia, as the Brazilian forward confirmed his commitment to Spurs and his dreams of playing for the Brazilian national team.
