Reports from Belgium indicate that Serie A newcomers Como have reached a €6 million agreement to acquire KRC Genk winger Alieu Fadera.
The Gambia international, who turns 23 in November, primarily operates on the left wing but is also capable of playing more central attacking roles.
Transfer expert Sacha Tavolieri has revealed that the deal includes €6 million in total, factoring in add-ons and a percentage of the sell-on fee, with both clubs having agreed on the terms.
Como is now in discussions with Fadera regarding personal terms and aims to finalize a five-year contract with him.
Fadera is expected to arrive over the weekend for medical examinations and to complete the transfer process.
Fadera, who was signed by KRC Genk from Zulte Waregem last year for €4 million, made 35 competitive appearances last season, scoring three goals and providing four assists.
Como secured promotion to Serie A by finishing second in Serie B last season under coach Cesc Fabregas, although Fabregas was only officially appointed as head manager this summer due to certification requirements.
