According to French reports, Inter has submitted an offer of €15 million, including add-ons, for defender Nathan Zeze. However, Nantes is holding out for €20 million.
The 19-year-old centre-back, who celebrated his birthday in June, has played for France at the Under-17 and Under-18 levels. A product of FC Nantes’ youth system, he was promoted to the senior team in January, making 14 appearances, with 12 of those as a starter.
Footmercato reports that Inter’s proposal, which included performance-related bonuses, was not sufficient to persuade the Ligue 1 club to agree to the sale.
Zeze is reportedly keen on a move to Inter, the reigning Italian champions, despite having a contract with Nantes until June 2028. There is also potential interest from Premier League clubs in this promising central defender.
