After making a significant impact for Chelsea and helping England reach the Euro final—where they ultimately lost to Spain—Palmer took several weeks off to recuperate. Now, he’s back at Cobham as the new Premier League season approaches.
Recent footage shows the 22-year-old returning to Chelsea’s training facility, where he underwent individual drills before meeting new coach Enzo Maresca, who joined from Leicester City earlier this summer.
Palmer was a standout performer for Chelsea last season, netting 25 goals and providing 15 assists across all competitions. His contributions helped Chelsea secure a sixth-place finish, and the club will be counting on him to propel them to greater heights in the 2024-25 season.
Palmer might make his return to first-team action on Sunday against Inter in their final pre-season match. The following week, Chelsea will face defending Premier League champions Manchester City at Stamford Bridge to kick off the new season.
