Following Portugal’s quarter-final exit to France at Euro 2024, Ronaldo has been making the most of his summer break. The 39-year-old’s performance in the tournament was lackluster, with no goals scored, leading some to question his role in Roberto Martinez’s squad. Nevertheless, Ronaldo appeared in excellent condition and visibly thrilled to be back at Al-Nassr this week.

He shared several training photos on Instagram with the caption: “Back where I belong! 💪🏼.”

Despite concerns about his declining form as he nears 40, Ronaldo has remained highly effective in the Saudi Pro League. Last season, he netted 50 goals in 51 matches, and the year before, he scored 14 in 19 games. It’s clear he still has a lot to contribute to Al-Nassr.

Al-Nassr will face Al-Taawoun in the semi-finals of the Saudi Super Cup on August 14, with the new Saudi Pro League season kicking off against Al-Raed just eight days later. They will be aiming to improve on their second-place finish from the previous season.
