The Swiss forward, Alisha Lehmann, and her Brazilian midfielder partner, Douglas Luiz, both transferred from Aston Villa to Juventus during the summer window. Lehmann has left the Women’s Super League in England, while Luiz is taking on a new challenge in Serie A.

Since the 2023-24 season ended, both players have been on international duty. Lehmann participated in Euro 2025 qualifiers after joining Luiz in the United States for Brazil’s Copa America campaign. Now, they are fully integrated into the Juventus squad.

Lehmann opened her goal account for Juventus in a 6-1 friendly win over Swiss side Servette. The 25-year-old expressed her joy on social media, stating, “I’m so happy with the win today. And of course that I’ve scored my first goal for Juventus. I’m really proud to wear this shirt!”

Luiz also had a reason to celebrate as he helped Juventus’ men’s team to a 2-2 draw with Brest. Coming off the bench, he assisted his fellow countryman Danilo for a goal that temporarily gave the Bianconeri the lead before Brest equalized late in the match.
