Reports from Italy indicate that Atalanta is prepared to allow Teun Koopmeiners to join Juventus for €55 million, including add-ons. However, this transfer will only proceed after he has competed in the European Super Cup against Real Madrid.
Koopmeiners has been a prime target for Juventus for some time, with rumors suggesting he agreed to personal terms months ago and is inclined to reject offers from other clubs, such as Liverpool.
Calciomercato.it reports that Juventus’ initial bid of €45 million plus bonuses has been revised to €50 million plus an additional €5 million in add-ons. While this offer is slightly below the €60 million asking price, it is still close, and Juventus is aware of the player’s desire for this move.
The report also mentions that Juventus must wait until after Koopmeiners has played in the European Super Cup, scheduled against Real Madrid in Warsaw on August 14, before finalizing the transfer. The Dutch midfielder is expected to complete his move to Juventus the day after the tournament.
