According to Sky Sports Germany, Sane’s contract talks with Bayern have stalled, and with only a year left on his contract, Arsenal see an opportunity to secure the 28-year-old’s services.
Sane, who joined Bayern from Manchester City in 2020 for £55 million, has expressed a desire to stay in Germany. However, Arsenal “senses a chance” to strike a deal to avoid Bayern losing him for free next summer. Sane has a connection with Arsenal’s manager Mikel Arteta from their time together at Manchester City under Pep Guardiola.
