Reports indicate that Paris Saint-Germain have halted negotiations for Victor Osimhen, creating an opportunity for Arsenal to initiate a fresh round of discussions with Napoli.

PSG had shown strong interest in the Nigerian striker but sought a discount on his €130m release clause, proposing an offer of around €90m, which Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis rejected. Although PSG remains interested in Osimhen, they are not currently prioritizing the deal due to their need to address decisions regarding Kolo Muani and Goncalo Ramos. Meanwhile, Napoli is poised to sell Osimhen to accommodate Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku, who is eager to reunite with Antonio Conte.

Both Arsenal and Chelsea have recently reached out to Napoli to explore a potential deal for Osimhen, according to Corriere dello Sport. Arsenal is keen on the striker but is currently concentrating on acquiring Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting CP. Chelsea, while interested, finds Osimhen’s high salary and associated costs a challenge as they aim to manage their wage budget.
