Tottenham have reportedly initiated discussions with Juventus to explore a serious transfer deal for Federico Chiesa.
The 26-year-old Italian winger is absent from Thiago Motta’s pre-season squad in Germany, as he remains in Turin following his recent wedding to Lucia Bramani. Currently, he is training alone at Continassa, awaiting his teammates’ return.
Chiesa is not part of Motta’s future plans and has yet to sign a new contract with Juventus, making his departure this summer highly likely as the club aims to avoid losing him on a free transfer next year.
According to Tuttosport on page seven, Tottenham has reached out to Juventus to discuss a move for Chiesa and is prepared to offer a deal close to his estimated €30 million valuation.
Coach Ange Postecoglou is keen on the 26-year-old, valuing his versatility and skill in one-on-one situations. Chiesa is receptive to the idea of joining Tottenham and is enthusiastic about the chance to play in the Premier League.
