Manchester United legend Dwight Yorke has urged the club to be “ruthless” and consider selling Harry Maguire. Yorke, who was instrumental in United’s 1999 Treble-winning team, believes it’s time for the Red Devils to move on from the 31-year-old defender.

Maguire, who is entering the final year of his contract, had a challenging season with injuries and missed out on Euro 2024. Despite his impressive performances under Erik ten Hag, Yorke suggests it may be time to bring in new players to drive the club forward. Yorke has also recommended Chelsea as a potential destination for Maguire, particularly after Thiago Silva’s departure to Brazil.

He thinks Maguire could fill the void at Chelsea and benefit from a fresh start. As United embarks on their USA tour, Maguire will participate in friendly matches against Arsenal, Real Betis, and Liverpool, with the tour taking place across various notable stadiums.
