Roma have been relatively inactive in the transfer market this summer, having only signed Enzo Le Fee from Stade Rennais and Mathew Ryan on a free transfer. Despite strong links to Matias Soule, negotiations with Juventus have yet to yield a deal.
Daniele De Rossi is preparing for his first full season as Roma’s head coach and is aiming for a well-rounded squad with reliable backups. He views Dahl as a valuable alternative to Angelino, prompting the club to push forward with the transfer.
According to Daniel Kristoffersson of Sportbladet, Roma and Djurgarden reached a full agreement for Dahl after discussions on Tuesday evening. The deal is set to cost around €4 million with an additional €2 million in potential add-ons.
The 21-year-old Swede has agreed to a five-year contract and is expected to arrive in Rome in the coming days, with plans to complete his medical examination by the end of the week.
