Several Italian reports indicate that Matias Soulé is nearing a transfer from Juventus to Roma, though the Giallorossi will need to make a third offer to persuade the Bianconeri.

According to various Italian sports outlets, Roma is close to finalizing the acquisition of Juventus winger Matias Soulé. The Giallorossi’s recent offer, which was just under €30 million, fell short of Juventus’ asking price. Despite this, sources like Gazzetta, Tuttosport, and Corriere dello Sport suggest that an agreement between the two clubs is imminent.

Juventus’ current asking price is around €35 million, but an improved bid that exceeds €30 million, including potential add-ons, is likely to convince Cristiano Giuntoli to agree to the sale. Soulé has expressed a strong preference for moving to Roma over Leicester City or West Ham.

Il Corriere dello Sport reports that Juventus has yet to formally reject Roma’s latest offer, with an expected response due today. The Rome-based publication asserts that Roma is in a leading position to secure Soulé, noting that West Ham has not yet submitted a formal bid.

Gazzetta and Tuttosport indicate that Juventus is awaiting a slightly improved offer from Roma. According to Tuttosport, Giuntoli is also aiming to include a sell-on clause in the agreement.
