PSG have been actively seeking new signings throughout the summer, with a particular focus on Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. While the French club seems to have abandoned hopes of acquiring the Georgian winger, they are still interested in the Nigerian striker, although negotiations have slowed.
According to L’Equipe, PSG will need to offload either Gonçalo Ramos or Randal Kolo-Muani before they can finalize a deal for Osimhen. However, neither player is willing to leave the Parc des Princes at the moment, causing the transfer discussions to stall.
It’s expected that Osimhen will move on from Napoli, especially with Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku being a potential replacement. PSG risks losing out on Osimhen if they delay too long, as both Chelsea and some Saudi clubs are also keen on signing him.
Despite the start of Napoli’s pre-season, Osimhen has yet to join his teammates, and he is likely to continue pushing for an exit.
