Torino has reportedly finalized an agreement with Scotland international Che Adams, who is currently a free agent following the expiration of his contract with newly-promoted Premier League side Southampton at the end of June.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio and Sky Sport Italia, Torino has reached a personal terms agreement with Adams and his representatives, though the exact figures remain undisclosed.
Recent reports indicate that the contract could be valued at approximately €1.8 million per season, excluding bonuses, with an additional €1.5 million signing-on bonus.
Since Adams is available on a free transfer, Torino will not need to pay any fees to Southampton or any other club.
The 28-year-old, who gained prominence with Birmingham City after his 2016 transfer from Sheffield United, has earned 33 caps for Scotland’s national team, scoring six goals over the past four years.
Previous reports mentioned that Adams and his agents were in Italy last week to negotiate with several clubs, including Torino.
