Kacper Kozlowski has left the Premier League to join Turkish side Gaziantep FK for an undisclosed fee. The 20-year-old Polish midfielder, once considered one of Europe’s most promising players, signed a three-year contract with the Turkish Super Liga club to rebuild his career.

Kozlowski joined Brighton & Hove Albion in 2020 from Polish outfit Pogan Szczecin for £9.3 million. Ranked among the top 20 young players in Europe before his move to England, he made history at Euro 2020 by becoming the youngest player to feature in the tournament, breaking a record set by Jude Bellingham. Kozlowski debuted for Poland at 17 years and 246 days during a 1-1 draw against Spain.

Despite interest from Manchester United, Barcelona, and Borussia Dortmund, Kozlowski never made a Premier League appearance for Brighton. He was loaned to Belgian side Royale Union St-Gilloise and then to Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem, where he made 63 appearances and scored six goals. Despite his efforts, Vitesse was relegated from the Eredivisie last season. Now, Kozlowski looks to revitalize his career in Turkey.
