Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is reportedly prepared to offer Paris Saint-Germain a slight discount on Victor Osimhen’s €130 million release clause.
Napoli is eager to sell the Nigerian striker this summer to fund new additions for Antonio Conte’s upcoming project. However, no club has yet met his release clause, which has delayed the acquisition of Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku.
The club is determined to resolve the situation promptly, especially since they have made it clear that Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is not for sale. Once Osimhen’s transfer is finalized, Napoli intends to bring in Lukaku. The striker is said to have agreed to a five-year contract with PSG, with an annual net salary of approximately €14 million.
According to Corriere dello Sport, De Laurentiis is willing to reduce Osimhen’s release clause slightly to expedite a deal with PSG. Recently, Osimhen’s agent, Roberto Calenda, traveled to Paris to help advance the negotiations, while PSG’s directors are actively working to reach an agreement from their training base in Castel di Sangro.
