Roma are on the brink of signing Matias Soulé from Juventus, having increased their offer to €28 million plus bonuses. Although Leicester City submitted a higher bid, Soulé has expressed a strong preference for joining Roma.
The Argentine talent, who shone during his loan at Frosinone last season, is set to be sold this summer to fund other transfer moves.
Juventus initially sought €40 million for Soulé and rejected a higher offer from Saudi Arabia earlier in the season. However, they are now reportedly willing to accept €30 million plus bonuses.
Despite Leicester City’s offer matching this amount, Soulé has firmly chosen Roma after discussions with coach Daniele De Rossi. His agent has informed all interested parties that Soulé will only consider the Giallorossi.
According to Sportitalia transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà, Roma is gradually enhancing their offer to €28 million plus bonuses, bringing them closer to finalizing the deal.
