Arsenal are reportedly in advanced negotiations with Bologna to sign Italy International Defender Riccardo Calafiori for a fee close to 42 million. Discussions are ongoing regarding payment structure and clauses, with personal terms not expected to be an issue.
Calafiori, who can play as a left-sided center back or left-back, impressed at the Euros and had the most assists, recovered distance, and third-highest passing accuracy for Italy per 90 minutes. Basel, who sold Calafiori to Bologna last summer for just over 3 million, will receive 50% of the profit Bologna make.
