Bologna isn’t the sole Serie A club eyeing Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior, as Inter are also poised to make a move.

Kiwior, who rose to prominence with Spezia, secured a €19.5m transfer to Arsenal in January 2023. Despite his potential, he’s struggled for consistent playing time at the Gunners, appearing in only 38 matches and contributing two goals and three assists.

Recently, Kiwior was considered as part of Arsenal’s offer for Bologna’s Riccardo Calafiori, but he turned down the opportunity, seeking a more ambitious team.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter have entered the fray, looking to add Kiwior to their defense. They might pursue a loan deal with an option to buy, especially with Tajon Buchanan sidelined for four to five months due to a leg injury sustained during the Copa America.

With Carlos Augusto shifted to left wing-back, Inter are in search of a left-footed defender who can also play on the left when needed. Milan and Juventus have also previously shown interest in Kiwior.
