Lazio has expressed gratitude to their former striker Ciro Immobile and confirmed his transfer to Besiktas.
While Besiktas announced the deal last week, Lazio only officially acknowledged Immobile’s departure today with a short statement on their website.
During his eight years at the Stadio Olimpico, Immobile became the club’s all-time top scorer and earned the Golden Boot as Europe’s leading goal-scorer in 2020.
Lazio highlighted his contributions to the club and shared a message on X (formerly Twitter) to thank their legendary forward.
