Juventus is awaiting a fresh bid from Leicester City for Matias Soulé, with Gazzetta dello Sport reporting that the Bianconeri find the Premier League club more ‘trustworthy’ than Roma.

The Serie A giants are holding out for an offer ranging between €35m and €40m for the Argentinean talent Soulé, who scored 11 goals for Frosinone last season.

Thiago Motta is aware that a substantial bid will be necessary to sell the winger, and Juventus has already turned down a €30m offer, including add-ons, from Leicester City.

Tuttosport asserts that Juventus will not reduce their asking price, while Gazzetta maintains that Leicester City remains ahead in the race.

According to reports, Juventus directors believe Leicester City to be more ‘reliable’ than Roma, as they are more likely to meet the asking price.

Moreover, if Juventus receives identical offers from both Leicester and Roma, they are inclined to accept the English offer to avoid facing Soulé as an opponent next season.

However, the situation remains fluid, and Soulé would be content joining either club or remaining at Juventus.

Il Corriere dello Sport reports that Roma is preparing to make an initial offer soon, expected to be around €25m, still below Leicester’s initial bid.
