Sky Sport Italia reports that Alvaro Morata desires a move to Milan, prompting the Rossoneri’s directors to schedule a meeting this week to finalize the transfer.

Transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, reporting via X (formerly Twitter), reveals that Atletico Madrid’s Morata has opted to join Milan this summer. He is set to meet with club officials later this week and undergo medical examinations.

The Spanish international’s contract includes a €13m release clause, presenting Milan with two options: pay the full amount or negotiate a slightly higher fee with Atletico Madrid in installments.

Milan directors, as per Sky Sport Italia, will travel to Madrid on either Wednesday or Thursday to conclude an agreement with the former Juventus player.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, advisor to Red Bird, has reportedly assured Morata that Milan will meet his salary expectations. Additionally, the Serie A giants aim for Morata to undergo medical tests before his vacation begins.
