The Manchester City defender has two children with Lauryn Goodman, outside of his marriage to long-time partner Annie Kilner. Despite efforts to reconcile with his wife, he remains haunted by past decisions he describes as ‘foolish.’

Goodman attended Euro 2024 group stage matches with her children, despite purported advice to stay away due to her upcoming role in a documentary akin to those featuring footballers’ partners. She shared photos on social media of her son Kairo wearing a No.2 ‘Daddy’ shirt while watching England games.

Ahead of the European Championship final, Goodman posted a message wishing England luck, saying, “Good luck tonight England @kairowalker brought his trophy home, lets hope England can too!” She also responded to a supportive message about her son, saying, “All of your messages are so cute. Honestly I’m so lucky to have them both they make my heart melt.”

Despite not attending the Berlin final after not receiving an invitation, the 33-year-old expressed gratitude, while Kilner watched Walker play as England suffered a heartbreaking 2-1 loss to Spain.
