Atalanta is poised to make a renewed bid for Celtic midfielder Matt O’Riley, reports transfer expert Matteo Moretto. The Serie A club’s initial €15m offer was turned down by Celtic, who rejected a larger bid from another European club during the January transfer window.
Negotiations between Atalanta and Celtic are ongoing, with Atalanta planning to submit a new offer soon, aiming to finalize the deal quickly. However, no agreement has been reached yet between Atalanta, Celtic, and O’Riley regarding personal terms.
O’Riley, who represents Denmark internationally, impressed with 19 goals in 49 appearances for Celtic during the 2023-24 season. Gazzetta reported that Celtic values O’Riley at €25m.
