Last season, Haaland made 45 appearances across all competitions, netting 38 goals. Although the Norwegian striker missed out on Euro 2024, the additional rest will benefit him as he gears up for the new domestic season. The 23-year-old had a significant injury setback in the 2023-24 season but is eager to return following another Premier League victory under Pep Guardiola.
After his peaceful retreat, Haaland will head to training as Manchester City prepares for their pre-season tour. The Premier League champions will travel to the United States to face top teams like AC Milan, Barcelona, and Chelsea.
