Manchester United are leading the race to sign Swiss star Dan Ndoye, according to the player’s agent. United manager Erik ten Hag is keen on the Bologna winger, who has impressed at Euro 2024. The 23-year-old, known for his versatility, has played as a center-forward, right-winger, and central midfielder for Switzerland.

Old Trafford chiefs have initiated talks with Bologna, who are asking £21 million for Ndoye. The Swiss international scored against Germany and played 98 minutes in Switzerland’s quarter-final against England, setting up Breel Embolo’s opener in the 1-1 draw. Ndoye’s agent, Fahd Adamson, noted that United’s interest is logical given their ownership by Ineos, which also owns Nice and Lausanne Sports, Ndoye’s former clubs.

Adamson said, “It is good that Manchester United are interested in Dan, and it is somehow logical as well.”Ndoye made 38 appearances for Bologna last season, contributing three goals and five assists, helping them secure a Champions League spot. Signed from FC Basel for £7 million last summer, he is under contract until 2027, with an option for an additional year.
