Victor Osimhen has commenced Napoli’s pre-season activities, yet he remains open to offers to depart the Stadio Maradona. Osimhen arrived at Castel Volturno today for medical assessments with Napoli and to begin pre-season training under Antonio Conte. While it’s anticipated that Osimhen will not stay beyond the summer at Napoli, formal offers for his departure have yet to materialize.
Osimhen’s contract features a €130m release clause, and despite reported interest from Chelsea and PSG, Napoli has not received any concrete proposals. Consequently, the star striker will join his teammates in preparing for the upcoming season.
According to La Repubblica, Osimhen was among the early arrivals at Napoli’s training center on Tuesday morning, joining players like Leonardo Spinazzola and Rafa Marin, who underwent medical tests on Monday. Alessandro Buongiorno is scheduled for examinations on Wednesday.
Antonio Conte has expressed readiness to part ways with Osimhen, as outlined in his recent press conference, with Romelu Lukaku emerging as a primary candidate to replace the Nigerian striker.
